Pros': We got excellent value for our money at El Capistrano in Nerja. The room was lovely, with traditional decor and balconies overlooking the pool. The location was great, close to the beach and supermarkets, and the staff treated us well.
The breakfast offerings could have been better, with more variety and options.

When I arrived at the checking in desk, I asked what was the latest I could leave the apartment on Monday, he checked his booking and replied that seeing that the apartment was not booked on the Monday, that I could leave later, whatever time I left, if the office was closed just to drop the keys into the letterbox (office would be closed between 2 and 4pm) the only problem he said would be with the cleaning of the apartment, but they never did it early anyway., so he could not any problems in that department. When Monday came I had just got out of bed when I saw the domestic opening the garden gate ready to clean the place this was at 10:30am, I approached her and informed her that I had been informed that I could leave later, she replied that she was there to clean the place and did not know anything reference us staying longer, that she would go to the office to find out. 10:40hrs she returned, and said that the office had said that on the terms of my booking I had to leave immediately, that they would grant me till 11:00 am to vacate the apartment, that only gave me and my friend 20 minutes to shower and pack, we had to rush everything and it left us with a sour taste after a lovely weekend, sorry but I shall never return there again.

The rooms here are super fresh, with big comfy beds and smoke detectors for safety - no worries about that! 🛌 the best part is how peaceful it is and the perfect spot it's in. Plus, there's parking nearby, so convenient! 🅿️

Our apartment was very clean and had a very well equipped kitchen. Our "balcony" was actually a full sized terrace with a view over the beautiful gardens to the ocean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this complex to other travellers!
We are completely satisfied and have no complaints!

EL Capistrano Village is a really quite place in Nerja. The price is good for this locality but otherwise you find cheaper in this category on Costa del Sol.
It is on the hill about 1.5 kilometres from the beach so the walk is difficult with younger children. The kitchen equipment is a bit worn-down. The hotel doesn´t have air-condition.

The location was great. It was about a 2 min drive from a fabulous beach (that had lots of parking). The Apartments were very clean and spacious with beautiful gardens. I would highly recommend it to anyone with small children. The staff was very friendly and helpful and provided maps and info to anywhere we wanted to go. There was also a grocery store on site and next door as well as atm machines, pools and tons of info on places to go and things to see.

The setting was stunning, near to Andalusia as well as the mountain side of nerja. Besides, it was only 1 km from Punta Lara: )

We stayed in Capistrano Village for a peaceful getaway, and it didn't disappoint. The beautiful gardens and lovely environment made for a serene setting. Our apartment had a spacious south-facing terrace and a well-equipped kitchen, which we loved. The bonus of having English TV channels, including Sky F1, was fantastic. The location was convenient, with supermarkets and the center of town within walking distance. The swimming pool and on-site shop were great amenities to have.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Everything here was great, I would definitely go back. The weather was sunny, had fantastic stay during my visit. The hotel was in a great location so close to the supermarket, and the beach and town. Also, Punta Lara was not far away.

We were very disappointed that although the advertisment stated that this complex had a swimming pool for apartment users and passes were issued on arrival, were we asked to pay for the use of sun beds around the pool area. Of all the hotels and apartments we have stayed at in Nerja this is the first time we have come across this type of charge.

Nice complex but the apartment we stayed in requires an all round update to bring it into the 21st century.Could not fault the view from the balcony over the pool, plus sea views but the inside let it down. We met friends there who had booked through another agent and their apartment was far superior. The complex is rented out through at least 3 different agents who obviously have different standards for the properties they lease. All I can say as regards the next question is I would recommend it providing you manage to get a good property. First time that I have not been happy with a booking I have made through your company for the several years I have been using you,but not you fault.
